13 Days of Halloween- DIY Halloween Ornament Wreath
Hi everybody! This post was meant to go up yesterday, but I’ve been having a camera issues so it is a day late for the party. From now until Halloween I am going to be posting a new Halloween inspired craft everyday of the week, for a total of thirteen diys. So be sure to tune in because we’re going to have a lot of fun! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Mostly because I love to decorate! One of my absolute favorite decorations at my mom’s house is a set of Kringles Halloween ornaments. She used to hang them from the chandelier in the dining room, but this year she has a new chandelier and they don’t hang well from the new one. So I decided that we should showcase the ornaments in a different way and make each one it’s own little wreath.
This craft is so totally easy to do! All you need is a small vine wreath, some spray paint, felt flowers, ribbon and your ornament. Spray paint your little vine wreath. I painted them black. Once the wreath is dry you can glue felt flowers on the top for embellishment. I have a tutorial on how to make them Here. Next you tie on your ornament around the top of your wreath with some fishing line or string. Then to finish it of you loop a ribbon through the little wreath and tie a bow a few inches above the wreath for hanging. Then you can hang and enjoy. We hung my mom’s ornaments in the windows of the dining room. Aren’t they adorable! I really love the kitty bat! Kringles make the cutest ornaments! So if you have a special ornament you want to display, but don’t have a tree, try hanging it in a little wreath. It’s like a sweet little frame and highlights your special piece! It’s also a fun and economical craft to give as a gift too! Hope you all enjoyed day 1 of my Halloween special!
Happy Crafting!
