DIY Vintage Watch Part Bottle Necklace

Hi guys! Today I am going to share one of my latest diy jewelry projects with you. I recently came across these fun little watch part bottles at TinyThingsAreCute.com when I was shopping for vintage Halloween minis. Needless to say I fell in love with them! I thought they would be perfect to make a little necklace to hold my favorite perfume. This little necklace is super fast to whip up, making it a great candidate for your next weekday project!

Here’s What You Need:

*Vintage Watch Part Bottle (Find them Here)

*Chain of your choice

*Little Screw eyes (I bought mine at JoAnns)

*Charms, Beads, head pins, jump rings, etc…

*Perfume (optional)

This little necklace could not be any easier. The first thing you need to do is mark the center of the cork in the top of the bottle. Next, twist your screw eye into the cork where the center mark is. You can add a dab of glue to be extra secure. Add a cute bead to a head pin and find a good charm you like. Open up a jump ring and insert your bottle on to it by the eye on the top. Close up your jump ring and string your chain through it to make your necklace. Now you can embellish it by adding beads or charms. Attach any embellishments with smaller jump rings attached to the larger one. And that’s it, easy right!

I LOVE my little necklace! It holds my favorite Pacifica Perfume. I love the size of the little bottle too! You can totally customize it by adding any tiny thing you like. You could add a tiny message on a scrap of paper rolled up, favorite beads, moss, or even a little petal from a wishing flower. Or you can fill it with vintage watch parts for a more industrial feel. There are so many possibilities! This would make a lovely little gift as well! Make one for all your favorite gals. I will be back next week with more fun DIY projects. Until then…

Happy Crafting!

  1. OMGosh! I’ve been seeing these necklaces everywhere and have been reluctant to whip out my credit card, mostly because I don’t want just one, I want lots of them. Now I can have lots without even glancing at my wallet.
