5-IMG_1301A little while ago I saw these fantastic vintage christmas light reflectors on etsy and just had to get them! They were so cute! I knew I had to do something special with them! They have been sitting on my desk for weeks, and it finally came to me that I should try making some hair pins with them to wear during the holidays! These are so simple and easy! Not to mention that this would be a fabulous project to do with your kids!

Here’s What You Need:

*Vintage Christmas Light Reflectors

*Vintage Shank Style Buttons

*Hair Clips

*E6000

1-IMG_1303I totally love how they turned out! I think they are perfect for Hannah and I to pile on with our ugly Christmas sweaters this year for Santa pics. I could also pin one up to wear with my christmas dress at our holiday party. You could just as easily turn these into pins instead of hair clips just by glueing the pin blanks on the back instead of the hair pins. You can find old christmas light reflectors on Etsy and Ebay and even sometimes at your local thrift or flea market. I hope I have inspired you to make some festive clips of your own! I’ll be back tomorrow with more holiday how-tos! Until then…

Happy Crafting!
