Party On!

Hiya Everybody! Since this is my first blog and my first post ever, I decided to start off on my decorating foot. Last week I turned 30(GASP). My closest friends and family were there and it was one of the best birthdays i’ve ever had. I was a bit nervous at first when I started planning since I hadn’t really planned a birthday party since I was like turning 9. I have to admit it was easy to figure out party themes when I was little. Since my bday is the day before Halloween, I always had a themed party around whatever I was going to be to go trick or treating. Not so easy now that i’m a big girl. However I decided to go with an aqua and red theme since that is one of my favorite color combos ever. I love to make things and with a little research from Craftgawker(think i’m obsessed) and a couple of wedding blogs I found lots of ideas to start with, and I have to say that I think other than sharing the day with family and friends, I had the most fun decorating.
