The Raw Supply Company on Etsy
A few weeks ago I did a post on vintage french finds. One of the featured items was a set of fabulous vintage french flashcards from the Raw Supply Company on Etsy. I had chosen the french theme because it was my 5th wedding anniversary that week, and I had gotten married on the french side of the island of St. Marten. Shannon, the gal behind this awesome supply shop, sent me a little set of these cards as an anniversary gift. So so sweet! I just recieved them in the mail the other day. When I opened the package, they were beautifully wrapped in a simple muslin bag with a rustic tin heart on top and a thank you note underneath, all tied up in brown and white bakers twine.
Shannon picked cards that were based in my anniversary. A ring, a little old couple, a shop, a beautiful picture, and the number 5.
There are so many cool things you can do with these cards. I decided to frame mine. I cut scrapbook paper to size for my 5×7 frames, then lightly taped the cards into the center. I have photographed them without the glass in the frames so I wouldn’t have glare in my pictures. Aren’t they cute?
The Raw Supply Company is a great place to find all kinds of wonderful supplies that have a simple, rustic, shabby cottage feel. They have some amazing vintage finds for supplies from crystals and ribbons to vintage burlap feedsacks, to tea stained muslin and burlap items. Here are some of their cool finds:
