Favorite Vintage Finds of the Week- April 20th
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Did you all know that Wednesday of this week is Earth Day? Although we never really do anything special to celebrate Earth Day in our family, we do try to be “green” all the year. Conservation of our beautiful Earth is something both my hubby and I feel is important. Even something small like recycling or changing to more efficient light bulbs can make an impact. In honor of Earth Day, this week I am going to share some vintage earthly love inspired finds with you all. Check em’ out:
Mini metal Globe Vintage Gumball Machine Toy from Nostalgic Artifacts
Rare Vintage Smokey The Bear Cookie Jar by Norcrest, Japan from Mid Century Kitschen
the true book of conservation, vintage 1969 children’s book from Vintage Book Bazaar
Vintage 1960’s Smokey The Bear tin foldover tab button from Reb’s Collectibles
10 Unused 1959 Soil Conservation Vintage Postage Stamps Number 1133 from My Vintage Post Office

Aren’t they so fabulous! I just love vintage globes! The shaker set cracks me up! And I can never get enough of Smokey the Bear! He’s just too cute! I hope you all have enjoyed my finds this week! Be sure to check out these wonderful Etsy vintage shops for these items and so much more! I hope you all have a wonderful and green Earth Day! I’ll be back next week with more vintage goodies. Until then…
Happy Shopping!

Oh Renee, I’m so sorry I missed your comment! I hope you had a lovely Earth Day and your celebration was a smash! Wish I hadn’t missed it!
Conservation of our planet is close to my heart, too..I’m a big recycler & of course, upcycling as much as I can. Love globes, too & have a very small collection of 4 (and love vintage maps, as well). “Save the world”
Upcycling is the best, so much fun! So nice to hear you enjoy it so much too!
