Beautiful Vintage Style Mother’s Day Table with Free Printable!
Hi guys! Mother’s Day is right around the corner on May 8th! Mother’s Day is the best time to do something special for our moms. They support us and help us grow and learn throughout our lives, so they deserve a special day. Sometimes it can be hard to know just what to do to make mom’s special day special, especially for dad. So, today I am going to show you how to make a beautiful vintage table setting for your Mother’s Day meal. I have included a little printable you can use for your own table settings if you like.
First you want to start out with a gorgeous tablecloth and a gorgeous centerpiece. My tablecloth is vintage, but do not worry if you do not have any vintage linens, you can easily make a floral tablecloth fit. For my centerpiece I picked out this beautiful pink and red arrangement from my friends at FTD. You want to pick a flower arrangement that will bring out the colors and patterns of your beautiful tablecloth. I chose my dishes in complimentary tones. The rippling in the plates gives texture and the light aqua adds a pop of added blue to the poppy pinks and yellows in my tablecloth. White dishes can easily give you the same effect when paired with a colored charger or round placemat underneath. It may not be fancy, but I love to use printed paper napkins in my table settings. These napkins are perfect with their lighter pink tones and gingham print. There are a lot of florals already in this setting, and I love how the gingham ties in the floral theme without overbearing it. Adding striped or polkadotted napkins to your floral table is a fun touch! The glasses I used are a vintage style lime green glass, but clear glasses with a little design would be lovely too. Finish off your settings with pretty silverware and sweet salt and pepper shakers.

I could have added some candles or greenery, but I wanted to keep my setting simple since I had a lot of pattern in my tablecloth and centerpiece. I did create a little printable to dress up the adorable paint can vase my flowers came in and some place cards for added fun. You can Cut out the patchwork strips and tape them around your vase. If you have a wide vase like mine, I have added a larger format printable for a legal size paper print. So once you have them printed all you have to do is cut out your patchwork strip for your vase and your place cards. Write in the names on the place cards with a gold marker or sharpie.
I love how this table setting turned out! We have already had a nice little luncheon with this setting and it was a big hit with my mom! This is a great simple table setting, perfect for just about any mom! So grab yourself a gorgeous floral tablecloth, some cute napkins, my printables, and a beautiful floral arrangement and you have a recipe for a perfect Mother’s Day meal!
